Job Description:

• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
• Run the CNC mill (filling jigs with parts to be machined)
• Keep machines clean
• Fill machines with coolant
• Check parts with gauges to see if parts are still conforming
• Run the welding robot

Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school is required

– Experience: Experience is an asset

– Mathematical skills are required

– Knowledge of preventive maintenance activities in order to be able to identify problems is an asset

– Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility

– Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Overtime required, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail.

– Worksite environment: Noisy

– Weigh handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

– Language: Basic level of English is required

Salary: $25.94 hourly, 45 – 50 hours per week

Benefits: Transportation costs cover if worker needs to relocate. Protective equipment will be provided, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, and Ear protection.

Important Information:

Work schedule is from Monday to Friday. Work will start at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. The job requires flexibility in schedule due to operation. Overtime and work on weekends may be required
