JOB SUMMARY: The Community Standards Worker reports to and receives directions from the Justice Director.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION

The Community Standards Worker is responsible for updating by-laws of Six Nations Elected Council and providing public education and awareness programs and services in order to ensure the protection of residents and property; under the policies and procedures established by Six Nations Elected Council.

Wage Min $31.43-$39.29/hour

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in criminology, social work, psychology or a related field possesses a two-year college diploma with 5-10 years of experience in the justice or related
  • Three-five years’ experience working in Six Nations
  • Has a high-level understanding of the mainstream legal and court
  • High Level of Communication Skills: Interoffice, Telephone, and
  • High Level of Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Publisher
  • High level of office and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong level of organizational skills for
  • Must be a team-oriented
  • Must have a valid G
