Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration located at 13880 Mayfield Pl, Richmond, BC V6V 2E4 is seeking a Contents Manager to perform various activities related to the administration of the content’s division. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the work of contents supervisors, leads, movers, cleaners, and packers during both the initial and final phases of restoration projects. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Contents Manager will work both in-office and on-site to ensure that all restoration jobs meet company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations. This role requires hands-on involvement, frequent site inspections, and a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The salary offered is $36.60 per hour, working 40 hours per week. This is full-time, year-round positions. Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise contents team members including supervisors, movers, cleaners, and packers.
• Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to support performance and morale.
• Foster a team culture focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and safety.

Field Operations

• Spend approximately 50% of work time on-site assisting in and supervising restoration jobs.
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and improve job site quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Project & Office Management

• Oversee scheduling and execution of contents restoration projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, and clients to meet restoration timelines and standards.
• Monitor budgets and resolve project-related issues effectively.
• Report regularly to the Project Management team.

Processing & Equipment Management

• Collaborate with the Processing Supervisor and Estimator to ensure proper invoicing and estimation.
• Provide training on equipment such as Esporta, Ultrasonic, and Bio-Sweep chamber.
• Assist in development of SOPs for the contents department.

Training & Development

• Implement contents training programs in partnership with HR and Operations.
• Lead sessions on specialized software (e.g., Restorify, Encircle).
• Reinforce company values and conduct regular team outings and development sessions.

Sustainability Leadership

• Promote and implement eco-friendly practices within the contents division.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and source sustainable materials.
• Educate team members on environmental best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in contents management or restoration.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience managing a team of 5-10 staff members.
• Experience with fire and water damage insurance claims is preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced field environment.
• Strong background in project management, budgeting, and team coordination.
• Knowledge and experience using restoration tools and platforms (e.g., Esporta, Encircle).
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work physically in the field (lifting, moving items, inspections).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail in documentation, compliance, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC regulations and Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in sustainability is preferred.
