Position details are as follows:

Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $18/ hour, overtime at the rate of 1.5 after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week

Benefits: As per BC employment standards

Key duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per laid down menu.
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies and equipment when needed.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train and Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Ensure food quality is at high standards.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure staff adhere to health and safety standards and protocols.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Experience: Two years of related experience
• Language: English
