JOB SUMMARY: The Early Childhood Development Worker reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Program Supervisor – Child and Youth Health Team.
The Early Childhood Development Worker delivers Early Childhood Development (ECD) services in Six Nations Community Elementary Schools, in collaboration with partners within the Six Nations of the Grand River Community. To provide individual and small group support in collaboration with Child and Youth Health Team. To provide supports throughout the year to infants/children 0-6 years and their families in collaboration with programs under the Child and Youth Health portfolio and community partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Educator Equivalency as set by the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Must have a minimum of six months demonstrated ability in providing early interventions in the lives of children and their families.
OR
- Successful completion of a recognized Child and Youth Care Diploma Program with at least 3 years of experience working directly with children and families
- Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing.
- Possess a Class G License
- Current Standard First Aid including CPR Level C
