As the Finance Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and banking activities to ensure the smooth functioning of our retail business. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Financial Management:

  • Overseeing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to develop strategies for optimizing financial performance and achieving business objectives.

2. Banking & Insurance Management:• Managing relationships with banking and insurance partners to facilitate banking and insurance transactions and services.

  • Monitoring cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Implementing and maintaining banking procedures and controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
  • Coordinating audits and supporting audit processes as required.

4. Team Leadership:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and supporting the professional development of team members.

5. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyzing financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning processes.

6. Relationship Management:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including department managers and executives.
  • Serving as a point of contact for finance-related inquiries and providing timely and accurate information and support.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and achieve business objectives.
