Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor at Zaaffran Food and Kitchen will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality food delivery. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating kitchen and dining activities, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and addressing customer concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for Pakistani cuisine, and experience in the food service industry to uphold Zaaffran’s commitment to excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of kitchen and serving staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
  2. Train and Mentor Employees: Provide training to new hires and ongoing guidance to staff on food preparation, service standards, and safety protocols.
  3. Ensure Food Safety and Hygiene: Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  4. Manage Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of satisfaction with dining experiences.
  5. Schedule Shifts: Organize staff schedules, assign duties, and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs.
  6. Monitor Food Quality: Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portioning to ensure consistency and adherence to Zaaffran’s standards.
  7. Control Inventory: Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
  8. Maintain Financial Records: Assist with cash handling, daily sales reports, and other administrative tasks to support smooth operations.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree;
  • It bodes well to have completed a post-secondary program in food service administration; and
  • Must be dependable, reliable and have effective leadership, organizational, and effective communication skills.
