Job Description
Sonu Hair Cut & Beauty Lounge Ltd. is currently looking for1 Hairstyling Salon Manager to join immediately. Job offered is full-time and permanent. Salary is negotiable as per your qualifications and experience. Workers are encouraged to apply immediately.
Job Duties
Plan, organize, and oversee daily salon operations to ensure efficient workflow, quality service delivery, and a positive customer experience at Sonu Hair Cut Ltd. This includes supervising opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and client appointments.
Establish, implement, and monitor company policies and procedures related to staff performance, hygiene standards, client services, and workplace safety in compliance with provincial health and business regulations.
Manage and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, barbers, receptionists, and assistants. Assign duties, provide training and guidance, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a professional, team-oriented environment.
Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive reputation for Sonu Hair Cut Ltd. Implement strategies to improve service quality and resolve client issues professionally.
Develop and execute marketing and advertising initiatives to promote salon services and attract new clients. Coordinate social media campaigns, loyalty programs, and local promotions to increase brand visibility and customer retention.
Plan, monitor, and control the salon’s operating budget and inventory. Oversee purchasing of hair products, equipment, and supplies, manage vendor relations, and ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining adequate stock levels.
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service by setting performance standards, monitoring client feedback, and introducing service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay updated with current trends in the hairstyling and beauty industry to help guide staff training, product selection, and service innovation, ensuring the salon remains competitive in the local market.
Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance throughout the salon to maintain a comfortable and hygienic environment for both clients and employees.
Prepare operational reports and communicate regularly with ownership or senior management on staff performance, financial outcomes, customer feedback, and business development opportunities.
Employment requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required. A college diploma/certificate in relevant field be an asset.
• 2-3 years of full-time experience as professional hair stylist is required or Completion of a 2-3 year hairstyling apprenticeship program or Completion of a college or other program in hairstyling combined with 6-12 months of training is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Physical mobility, able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Benefits
As per BC Employment standards act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid.
