Job Duties:
- Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
- Recommend products or services to customers
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs
- Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment’s machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
- Resolve product and service related problems
- Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
- Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
- Evaluate daily operations
- Monitor department’s performance
- Plan and organize daily operations of the charter schedule, optimizing crew and vessel assignments
- Plan for changes to schedules and policies
- Recruit, train and manage captains, deckhands, and support staff
- Supervise staff
- Schedule crew shifts to meet charter demand and operational requirements
- Train staff in customer service and charter protocols by conducting safety drills, including fire, abandon ship, and man-overboard drills, for crew readiness
- Ensure transport compliance with local and international maritime laws, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations, including routine inspections to verify vessel condition and safety equipment
- Establish and implement policies and standard operating procedures for vessel operations, emergencies, and customer service
- Work with the sales and marketing team to negotiate for services and preferential rates for clients, and to facilitate customer preferences and special requests
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of yacht charters
- Organize and maintain inventory ensuring licenses, insurance, and safety certifications are up to date
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
- Record hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of all yachts in the fleet to ensure they are charter-ready at all times
- Coordinate with vendors, marine engineers, and service providers for vessel maintenance and emergency repairs
- Manage refueling, provisioning, and cleaning schedules for all charters
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding vessel readiness, itinerary planning, and safety concerns
- Monitor expenditures, track inventory, and review operational costs to ensure budget adherence
- Prepare and submit monthly operational reports, including maintenance logs, incidents, and expense summaries
Requirements
Education: Completion of a college or university program in business administration or in a discipline related to facility operation and maintenance is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience of supervisory experience in facility operations or maintenance are required. If the candidate does not meet the education requirement, then an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in administration or maintenance is required.
Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Suite, Internet, MS Windows, Electronic scheduler, Dispatch management service software, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office.
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Large caseload, Large workload, Work under pressure.

Salary: $58.00 hourly, 30 – 37.5 hours per week

Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The regular work schedule will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Fridays to Sundays, from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The schedule includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break and two unpaid 15-minute healthy breaks. Work on weekends will be required. Overtime may be required depending on the business needs. *We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather*
