Marketing Coordinator
Gruppo Terroni is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate team, share our strong family values and love of Italian culture and tradition. Beginning with our first small storefront on Queen West in 1992, we have grown to encompass seven restaurant locations in Toronto, including our two bakery restaurants operating under the banner of Sud Forno and our two Spaccio locations which operates as restaurant, retail, and production centers.

It is primarily an in-person role with most work taking place at our Head Office or at one of our restaurant locations with a monthly work from home day. You may be required to work during peak restaurant hours to support events in the evenings and on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing strategies and campaigns with a focus
on copywriting and coordination - Assist with social media strategy with responsibilities such as coordinating content calendars, research, customer service and general upkeep and maintenance
- Collaborate with the Marketing team in the development of T-Magazine, our annual magazine that features a region of Italy where we explore local flavours and artisans
- Maintain and further develop company-wide internal communication platforms using Connecteam in collaboration with People & Culture
- Work with the PR team on customer service and relations projects
- Assist with the maintenance of the company website and e-commerce site with responsibilities such as general upkeep and maintenance, new page and product development, optimizing media and content and tracking analytics
- Collaborate with our Marketing and Cavinona teams on email marketing strategies from campaign automation to audience optimization
- Assist with Google My Business, OpenTable and DoorDash maintenance and upkeep
- Evaluate analytics and insights from all digital channels and asses and report
performance against identified goals - Verify that all marketing collateral remains on brand and follows the company’s
style guides - Execute marketing strategy with well-researched and well-planned on-brand content
- Produce, edit, format, package and maintain multimedia for various digital and print applications such as social media, newsletters, website content, menus, signage, flyers, editorial, merchandising and more
- Lead on-site production from set design to talent coordination
- Collaborate with the team on Marketing campaigns
- Maintain a multi-brand content calendar
- Write and edit SEO optimized copy for all Marketing channels
- Organize and maintain Marketing content databases such as Notion, Dropbox, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in Italian and English (spoken and written) is a must
- Degree in Marketing/Media/Communications or related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the marketing field
- Knowledge of Italian food and culture
- Proficient with Social Media platforms and Email Marketing software such as Mailchimp
- Proficient with Shopify
- Proficient in copywriting and editing
- Proficient in handling camera equipment
- Ability to evaluate analytics to gain insight and implement improvements
- Tech-savvy and a good understanding of multimedia
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Thrive under pressure when needed and in a fast and multi-project environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Video and Photo editing software (preferably Final Cut Pro and Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop)
Salary
- $34.07 an hour
- 3 Weeks Paid Vacation
