Job Description

• Build pallets
• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
• Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
• Ship orders
• Pick orders and stock
• Weigh materials and goods
• Make labels and attach to goods
• Wrap goods
• Pack and unpack goods
• Sort, crate and stack goods
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Secure good/pallets

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience:

• Experience is an asset. We will train.
• This position is physically demanding and involves manual labour.
• Workers must be able to work in cold temperatures (-18C)
• Workers must have good communication skills and be able to use computers
• Forklift license is an asset

Salary: $21.92, 40-60 hours per week. Start rate of $21.92 per hour, additionally Night Shift Premium – $1.50 per hour or Afternoon Shift premium- 80 cents per hour.

Important information:

– Flexibility in schedule and overtime work will be required. The position involves working on rotating shifts and may include weekends. Three shifts M.A.D. weekly rotation: Midnights (11:30 pm to 8:00 am), Afternoons (3:30 pm to 12:00 pm), Days (7:30 am to 4:00 pm). 1 week on midnights, 1 week on afternoons, 1 week on days and then repeat. Schedule will be based on customer volumes.
