Symbiosis Pediatric Therapy Inc. is a dedicated Pediatric Therapy Centre offering behavior consultancy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services for children with special needs. We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. The job details are as follows:

Job Title: Occupational therapist

Work Locations:

Primary location: #202-2060 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, BC Canada V2S 3N4

Secondary Location: Unit 108 – 15358, 67 Avenue Surrey, BC, Canada V3S 7C6

Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 37.50 hours per week.

Compensation: $46 per hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities of Occupational therapist:

• Evaluate clients’ abilities and goals for daily living activities through observations, interviews, and structured assessment.
• Develop and Implement treatment plans designed to help clients function independently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create tailored care plans.
• Monitor patient’s performance in therapy activities, provide encouragement.
• Maintain comprehensive records of clients’ progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide consultation on health promotion initiatives to prevent disabilities and improve functional independence.
• Conduct research in occupational therapy
• Supervise and mentor Occupational therapy assistant.

Job requirements:

• Completion of University degree in occupational therapy
• Licensure with a regulatory body
• Experience will be considered as an asset
• Required language: English
