Job Description:

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the trade is required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required.

Valid driver’s licensed is required

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding

Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Initiative, Reliability, Team player.

Weigh Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated.

Language: English is required.

Salary: $34.07 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Uniforms provided. Transportation among work locations provided by employer. Company vehicle supplied by employer for work-related tasks only.

Important Information. Flexibility in schedule is required. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM including 30 minutes of unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid healthy breaks
