The Oven Fresh, located at 1300 King St E #32, Oshawa, ON, is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a full-time and permanent position offering $25.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We’re looking for someone who can lead daily operations, manage staff, and help us run a smooth, successful restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff
• Train staff
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food industry.
• Strong communication skills in English
