Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the Circle K store and oversees the work of other employees. The retail supervisor helps ensure that the team is providing quality customer service, and the store is running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

– Oversee daily operations of the store,
– Assign duties and tasks to retail staff including cashiers and floor staff,
– Train and supervise retail staff,
– Prepare and distribute staff work schedules,
– Maintain inventory by ordering, tracking, and checking merchandise to determine stock levels,
– Create and update reports on merchandise deliveries, inventory, sales, and sales volumes,
– Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed,
– Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed and met,
– Respond to customer comments, questions and complaints and ensure that quality customer service is maintained by store staff,
– Assist retail staff with everyday duties necessary to ensuring the smooth running of the store. such as serving customers, restocking,
– Other duties as required

Minimum Skills Requirements:

– Completion of secondary school is required;
– Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset;
– At least seven (7) months of prior work experience in a retail sales position is required;
– Prior supervisory experience is an asset;
– Fluency in written and verbal English is required;
– Must be dependable, reliable and have effective interpersonal skills.
