What We Are Looking For?
Diamond Hotel Management is looking for Rooms Manager – Accommodation Services to join our team here at The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel
We offer:
- Wage: $37.50 per hour
- Vacancy: 1
- Hours per week: 35 – 40 hours per week
- Work location: 4236 36 street, Edmonton, AB, T9E 0V4
Terms of employment:
- Permanent, Full time
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce hotel policies and operational procedures to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent daily operations
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operational standards, and safety regulations to maintain high-quality service and a safe environment for guests and staff
- Handle and resolve guest complaints, requests, and special requirements professionally, ensuring a consistently positive guest experience
- Assist guests with VIP services, special requests, or accessibility needs to enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and housekeeping staff, maintaining a skilled and motivated team
- Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to uphold service standards
- Plan, assign, and manage staff schedules and daily tasks to ensure optimal coverage and smooth operations
- Organize and lead staff training and development programs to build team capabilities and improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep of guest rooms and facilities to ensure quality standards
- Organize, monitor, and maintain inventory of hotel supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Negotiate with vendors to procure supplies and materials under favorable terms, optimizing cost and resource management
- Facilitate agreements with clients for the use of rooms and facilities, supporting revenue and business operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in English;
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Open availability including weekends and holidays;
