Diamond Hotel Management is looking for Rooms Manager – Accommodation Services to join our team here at The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel

We offer:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce hotel policies and operational procedures to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operational standards, and safety regulations to maintain high-quality service and a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints, requests, and special requirements professionally, ensuring a consistently positive guest experience
  • Assist guests with VIP services, special requests, or accessibility needs to enhance overall guest satisfaction
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and housekeeping staff, maintaining a skilled and motivated team
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to uphold service standards
  • Plan, assign, and manage staff schedules and daily tasks to ensure optimal coverage and smooth operations
  • Organize and lead staff training and development programs to build team capabilities and improve operational efficiency
  • Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep of guest rooms and facilities to ensure quality standards
  • Organize, monitor, and maintain inventory of hotel supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Negotiate with vendors to procure supplies and materials under favorable terms, optimizing cost and resource management
  • Facilitate agreements with clients for the use of rooms and facilities, supporting revenue and business operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate in English;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Open availability including weekends and holidays;
