Job Title: Supervisor Woodworking Machine Operator

Work Location: #12625 80th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V3W 3A6

Term of employment: Full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week

Compensation: $32.05/hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per week/40 hours per week.

. WCB coverage and 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Supervise, and Coordinate the activities of the employees who set up and operate woodworking machines.
• Prepares work schedules, assigns work, oversees production, and ensures timely completion of the work product.
• Ensures machine function and output are according to specifications.
• Monitors and evaluates production records and reports findings to management.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Resolve work problems.
• Requisition materials and supplies.
• Provide adequate training, information, and instruction about the job duties and safety procedures to the employees.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: 1-2 years of work experience as a woodworking machine operator or in a related field.
• Language Requirements: English.
