Terra Nova Village Enterprises Inc. DBA Terra Nova Village Veterinarian Located at Unit 130, 3671 Westminster Hwy Richmond, BC V7C 5V2 is currently looking for 2 full-time, Veterinarian Assistants to join their team.

Job Duties: –

• Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
• Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
• Assist Veterinarian with preparing equipment, administering and monitoring reports etc.
• Perform duties such as blood sampling, blood and urine testing and assist veterinarian in surgical procedures.
• Prepare medications and vaccines, under the direction of Veterinarian.
• Conduct procedures such as animal identification and nail trimming.
• Advise clients on animal health care including nutrition and home care.
• Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties.

Job Requirement:

• Completion of 2-3 year of College Program in Animal Health or Veterinary Technology is required.
• 1-2 years of experience is required

Terms of Employment: –

Job Type: Full-time

Wages: – $35.00 per hour. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
