The Alberta government recently announced a $13.5 million investment to reduce discrimination and foster inclusion.
The Ethnocultural and Anti-Racism Grants help community organizations deliver the projects that fight discrimination, foster inclusion, and attract and retain a diverse and skilled workforce.
“Alberta is home to many vibrant multicultural communities and should always be a safe province for anyone who calls it home,” said the associate minister of Multiculturalism, Muhammad Yaseen, in a media release. “I am proud of the work our government is doing to connect with multicultural communities, stand up against racism and keep Alberta a welcoming place for all.”
