Calls to Action on Indigenous Housing

The Indigenous Caucus and CHRA submitted a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on January 6, outlining the urgent need for the government to act on Indigenous housing.
“As Rural, Urban and Northern (URN) Indigenous housing providers and allies we can wait no longer.
What’s at stake is $2.8 billion promised and commited by the federal government, but not delivered.
What’s at stake are thousands of URN Indigenous peoples facing another bleak winter waiting for homes that are not yet built”.
