COME PREVIEW ABORIGINAL DAY LIVE ARTISTS

June 20, 2016, Winnipeg, Manitoba – APTN (Aboriginal People Television Network) invites all media to catch a glimpse of Aboriginal Day Live. Please join us for this unique opportunity to interview the performers, get some B-roll and photographs prior to the event.

Some of the evening concert artists and co-host Kyle Nobess will be available for interviews at the APTN tent near the main stage. Sky Bridges, APTN Chief Operating Officer will also be in attendance to answer questions on the 10-year anniversary edition of Aboriginal Day Live. Finally, site set-up, concert rehearsals and hands-on artisan demonstrations will be taking place during this time. Please note that French interviews can also be arranged with artists and organizers.

Live at The Forks in Winnipeg, returning co-hosts, Tina Keeper, award-winning actor and star of the APTN hit show Cashing In will co-host the main stage with Kyle Nobess, motivational speaker and star of the APTN hit series Mohawk Girls.

Aboriginal Day Live Concert Multi-Platform Broadcast: Watch LIVE on APTN, online at aboriginaldaylive.com or listen via the Aboriginal radio waves. The exclusive four-hour Aboriginal Day Live concert will broadcast on June 25 at 7:00 p.m. CT on APTN.

In 2015, more than one million people were reached by the LIVE broadcast.

People are also invited to join the conversation anytime on Twitter or Instagram by tagging their posts with #ADL2016, and the network will share them with its followers. Noteworthy posts that honour the celebration and its happenings could be added to the LIVE broadcast.
