With just two days left on the clock before the House of Commons shuts down for the week-long Thanksgiving break, the Conservatives are set to use their sixth designated supply day to challenge the minority Liberal government to “stop plagiarizing Justin Trudeau’s failed policies and recognize that deficits drive investment and jobs down and the cost of living up,” as outlined in the non-binding motion standing in the name of the party’s deputy leader, Melissa Lantsman.

As per standard parliamentary protocols, the debate will get underway this morning, continue through the day and ultimately go to a vote, although likely not until the sitting resumes on Oct. 20.
