AFOA Canada is inviting contributions to the next issue of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM), the only professional journal in Canada for Indigenous Professionals in the management, finance and governance fields.

Issue 38 will focus on how Indigenous communities can create wealth and build capacity for long-term success. Contributions may cover practical strategies, emerging trends, and inspiring examples that strengthen Indigenous communities and businesses.

Some questions that may be considered in this issue?

  1. What are some innovative approaches to wealth creation in Indigenous communities?
  2. How can Indigenous communities balance economic development and community well-being?
  3. What lessons can be learned from successful economic development projects?
  4. How can Indigenous communities prepare for and adapt to changes in markets, industries and funding?
  5. What strategies can help retain skilled professionals within Indigenous communities?
  6. How can communities measure the success of their capacity building efforts?
