After it was introduced nearly 15 years ago, the First Nations Land Management regime continues to increase its membership.
“Our First Nation is open and ready for business,” said Chief Austin Bear of the Muskoday Cree Nation and one of the original signatories of the act.
He is also the chair of the Lands Advisory Resource Centre and the elected director of the Lands Advisory Board for the Prairie Region.
Bear has an in-depth knowledge of the FNLM act.
