A flood warning is in effect for residents in and around Minisinakwa Lake, including Gogama and Mattagami First Nation.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) says people should closely watch the conditions, regularly check for updated messages and stay away from fast-moving rivers and streams.

“Residents are advice that there is a potential risk of flooding in the coming days,” reads the MNR advisory.
