A secondary claim that Georjann Morriseau faced reprisals for initiating the discrimination will continue in the Human Rights Tribunal’s process.
THUNDER BAY — A discrimination claim against the Thunder Bay Police Services Board by its former chair will not move forward, but a claim of reprisal will.
The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario has dismissed Georjann Morriseau’s claim of employment discrimination against the police board and it’s secretary John Hannam, now retired, on the basis that Morriseau was not an employee of the board.
