Gift Lake Métis Settlement – Celebrating a Community Led Approach to Cancer Prevention

The Indigenous Alberta Healthy Communities Approach (IAHCA) began with work in the Métis Tri-Settlements and provided support for cancer prevention and screening in the North Zone. The success of the project in Gift Lake highlights the importance of working in partnership with communities.
