Highbury Energy Inc. Appoints Dennis Woloshyn as Senior Legal Consultant

Vancouver, BC, The Directors of Highbury Energy Inc. are pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Woloshyn as the company’s Senior Legal Consultant, effective immediately.

Mr. Woloshyn brings to Highbury a distinguished legal career spanning more than three decades, with deep expertise in cross-border energy, natural resources, and investment fund law. He has held senior partnership roles at leading Canadian law firms McMillan LLP and Fasken, where he led the National Forestry Practice Group and served as Chair of the BC Chamber of Commerce’s Forestry Sector.

His industry experience includes serving as Head of Legal for a U.S.-based gold mining company with operations in Canada, where he advised on joint ventures, Indigenous partnerships, environmental compliance and regulatory investigations.

Internationally, Mr. Woloshyn was lead counsel at a prominent offshore legal practice in the Cayman Islands and the United Arab Emirates, where he advised global fund managers on investment fund formation, governance and structuring. He has been consistently recognized in leading legal rankings including Chambers Global, Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Who’s Who Legal.

A published author and former adjunct law professor, Mr. Woloshyn is known for delivering strategic, practical counsel to boards, executives and investment leaders across jurisdictions.
