Inquest into the Death of Jordan Trudeau Announced

Dr. Paul Dungey, Regional Supervising Coroner for East Region, Kingston Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Jordan Trudeau.
Mr. Trudeau, age 29, died on March 20, 2011, while an inmate at the Millhaven Correctional Institution.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Trudeau’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last three days and to hear from five witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Lennox & Addington Court House, 97 Thomas St., Napanee. Dr. Gordon Watt will preside as inquest coroner and Monica Heine will be counsel to the coroner.
