‘Ford is trying to remove red tape from protected and environmentally sensitive areas … to make it easier to access that land,’ says protestor
A lone protester stood on the stoop of Simcoe-Grey MPP Brian Saunderson’s office in Stayner on Tuesday afternoon, holding her sign high to raise awareness about the province’s Bill 5.
A series of rolling protests are taking place in front of Saunderson’s constituency office all week, running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Roz Campbell lives in Duntroon, and was holding the post on Tuesday afternoon alone. She said more were expected to arrive Tuesday night, with shifts planned all week.
