The new children’s animated series ‘Molly of Denali’ premieres Sept. 2 on CBC with a look at a 10-year-old girl in Alaska. Creative producer Princess Daazhraii Johnson and actor Lorne Cardinal, who voices Grandpa Nat, say the show is a chance to educate young audiences about Indigenous culture in a way that feels ‘authentic and accurate and respectful.’ (August 27, 2019.)
