Employment increased by 60,000 (+0.3%) in September and the employment rate rose by 0.1 percentage points to 60.6%. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 7.1%.
Leading indicator of international arrivals to Canada, September 2025
In September 2025, the preliminary number of international arrivals to Canada (returning Canadian residents and non-residents combined) by air and automobile was 4.8 million, down 15.6% from September 2024. This was the eighth consecutive month of year-over-year declines.
Farm product prices, August 2025
Monthly provincial prices received by farmers in August for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
