Healthcare access among children and youth aged 1 to 17 in Canada: Results from the 2023 Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth, cross-sectional component
This survey explores issues affecting the physical and mental health of children and youth aged 1 to 17 years living in one of the 10 provinces. This release provides an overview of access to healthcare and unmet healthcare needs for this age group in the provinces. Results showed that 91% of these children and youth had a regular healthcare provider.
Study: Unfair treatment, racism and discrimination in community sports in Canada, 2023
In 2023, 6% of individuals in the wider sports community reported having experienced unfair treatment, racism or discrimination in community sports during the previous five years.
Software development and computer services, 2023
The software development and computer services industries continued to experience strong growth in 2023, with total operating revenue reaching $148.0 billion. This represents an annual increase of 8.4% but is less than half of what was reported in 2022 (+18.8%).
Leading indicator of international arrivals to Canada, February 2025
In February, the preliminary number of international arrivals to Canada by air and automobile was 4.1 million, down 10.9% from February 2024. This was the first year-over-year decline since March 2021.
