The First Nation Natural Resources Youth Employment Program (FNNRYEP) is a paid, live-in employment and training program delivered each summer by Outland Camps. FNNRYEP uses the natural resources management platform to teach life skills and employment skills through hands-on work experience, specific training and day-to-day bush camp life. Rangers also earn high school cooperative credits which encourages them to finish high school and continue working toward a career either through post secondary education or trade school. A strong focus on identity, culture and tradition is maintained over the six weeks.
