Wahta Mohawk First Nation elections – My Parry Sound Now
The members of Wahta Mohawk First Nation are happy with the Chief they have. This is the message being sent following the recent election that ran over the weekend. Chief Philip Franks was re-elected with a majority vote of 135 ballots. Meanwhile, the council members voted are Blaine Commandant, Teresa Greasly, Lawrence Schell and Lorie Strength-Fenton. There were 206 ballots cast in total according to the Electoral Officer on the reserve.
