D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the Service Centre Desk Upgrades at the East District Police Station (1750 Dugald Road), North District Police Station (100
Sinclair Avenue), and West District Police Station (2321 Grant Avenue), Winnipeg, including all demolition, architectural, millwork, and security upgrades with bullet-resistant glazing, ballistic
framing, steel plate reinforcement, new counters, and transaction features as shown in the IFC drawings.

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Demolition and removal of existing reception desk elements including sneeze guards, solid wood fronts, millwork, counters, baseboards, and associated finishes as indicated on the drawings.
(b)   Supply and installation of UL 752 Level 3 bullet-resistant glazing, ballistic framing systems, and steel plate reinforcement to ensure continuous ballistic protection.
(c)    Construction and installation of new millwork, plastic laminate countertops with bullnose edges, access doors, impact-resistant finishes, and continuous blocking to integrate with existing
conditions.
(d)   Installation of transaction features including non-ricochet currency trays, bullet-resistant speak holes, voice ports, and secure pass-through systems.
(e)   Relocation and adjustment of electrical switches and devices as required to maintain clearances above new counter surfaces.
(f)    Application of decorative film, finishes, and protective coatings as specified, ensuring consistency with existing interiors.
(g)   Protection of adjacent finishes, repair of any damage to match existing, and completion of all related architectural work to deliver fully secure and operational service desks at each police
station.
D2.3        The funds available for this contract are $300,000.00
