SCOPE OF WORK DESCRIPTION

Overview of the Calgary Event Centre Project
The Calgary Event Centre is a transformative project that will serve as a new hub for sports, entertainment, and cultural engagement in the City of Calgary, Alberta. The Event Centre (Scotia Place) will be an inclusive, state-of-the-art venue that integrates Calgary’s rich history, Indigenous heritage, and sustainability initiatives. The project is a collaboration between the City of Calgary, Calgary Sport and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC), and other key interested parties, ensuring the venue reflects the cultural and historical significance of the region.
As part of this initiative, a Cultural Consultant will be engaged to develop and curate content for informational plaques and commemorative installations throughout the project site.
