Description
The Request for Proposal is for the Town to hire a Project Manager to oversee the living shoreline project in front of the historic waterfront. This project presents a unique opportunity to restore an area of salt marsh that has been degraded over two centuries of development. The restoration will take place along a 0.8 hectare section between the lighthouse and Kings Theatre. This will involve rearranging existing amor stones to create a protective sill, backfilling the area with sediment to achieve the required intertidal elevation , and planting native salt marsh species.
