Description
This Request for Quotations (the “Solicitation”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Minister of Public Service Delivery, to prospective Vendors to submit Submissions for The Provision of RockWorks Software Licenses, as further described in Section A of the Solicitation Particulars (Appendix A) and Scope of Deliverables (Appendix B).
RockWorks is designed for managing borehole data and includes functionalities for creating base maps, contour maps, cross-sections, surfaces, solid block models, and fence diagrams. It allows the development of lithostratigraphy cross-sections using various data types and features built-in algorithms for automating cross-section creation. The software also processes digital elevation data (XYZ or ASCII files) and manages geochemistry data, including the creation of Stiff diagram and time-graph maps for selected analytes, as well as aquifer potentiometric surface maps that can be utilized within ArcGIS Pro.
The Groundwater Management Section currently lacks the tools to perform this type of advanced analysis. Procuring RockWorks will enable staff to fully assess, analyze, and report on groundwater and hydrogeological conditions throughout Manitoba for various stakeholders
