Brief Description:

Real Estate services entail ten (10) distinct planned service segments, and suppliers would have the option to respond to one or more segments:

The services in scope for this RFP consist of the following segments:

1. Project Management services for Land Acquisitions
2. Public Engagement (communication planning and materials, stakeholder identification, open houses and consultations, property owner notifications, development of materials to support such activities etc.)
3. Appraisal Services such as appraisal reports, market rent studies, consulting services (CUSPAP defined), appraisal peer reviews etc.
4. Surveying (scheduling and execution, property appraisal sketches)
5. Land Rights Acquisitions such as negotiation of agreements, status reporting, field activities
6. Land Administration and Title Services (chain of tile and ownership verification search)
7. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – Mapping Services for Projects (routing, site selection, identifying ROWs, constraints, access road plans, maintaining GIS database etc.)
8. Regulatory Engagement, Local Government and Other Stakeholder Engagement (Permitting support, collaboration, regulatory analysis and support, creation and development of presentations to stakeholders, etc.)
9. Construction and Post-Construction Support (provide dedicated support for construction readiness, notifications, and post- construction support.)
10. Crop Valuation/Compensation (crop land valuation, compensation consultation, farming practices, advisory services etc.)

Hydro One’s intent coming out of this competitive procurement process is to establish contract(s) with one (1) or more suppliers on an as and when required basis throughout a multi-year contract term. Any award of business through the RFP will not be exclusive, and Hydro One makes no guarantee of the value or volume of work or services that may be given to any supplier pursuant to the RFP or any subsequent agreement.
