New Iqaluit International Airport terminal opening
August 08, 2017
Attention Iqaluit travellers: flight operations at the new Iqaluit International Airport terminal building will begin on Wednesday, August 9!
Starting that day, the old airport will no longer be used for flight arrivals or departures. If you are travelling or meeting someone, please ensure you go to the new airport terminal at 1528 Ungalliqpaat Crescent.
Entry to the airport is located off Federal Road. Please turn onto Ungalliqpaat Crescent, close to the Baffin Correctional Centre for the easiest access to parking and the passenger pick-up/drop-off lane.
As always, please arrive with enough time for check-in and security screening. Passengers should also be aware that flights to Ottawa and Montreal requiring screening will not accept baggage until three hours prior to departure time.
Happy travels!
