Canada’s top programs are getting more competitive to get into each year.

These graduates not only get recruited to the most in-demand industries and jobs in Canada but are also competitive on the global talent market.

The most innovative companies in the world only send recruiters to top programs. Silicon Valley startups like Google, Uber, Airbnb only send recruiters to University of Toronto and University of Waterloo. Wall Street’s banks, private equity funds, and consulting firms save headcount for their incoming hires only for Western and Queen’s grads.

• Engineering co-op programs at the University of Waterloo has a 4.3% acceptance rate.
• Top business programs at Western and Queen’s have an acceptance rate of 6-8%
• McMaster’s Health Science program has a 10% acceptance rate.

Yet, on Reddit and in school hallways, we hear about students getting rejected with 95% averages and pages of Extracurriculars.
