QNW: Seminar Tapickotc Otamirotan

SEMINAR TAPICKOTC OTAMIROTAN: SEPTEMBER 11-12, 2018 Organised by Quebec Native Women (QNW), the seminar offers the WORKERS the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Indigenous Approach to family Violence and to equip themselves to serve in the best possible way members of Indigenous families living with this issue. The first day will focus on raising awareness among workers about the impacts of the colonization on Indigenous to the present day (with testimonies). The second day will present innovative and efficient practices, and essential tools. A cultural activity will also take place. At the end of the seminar, we will propose the creation of an advisory committee to create a simplified Resource Guide on domestic violence.
