Job Summary:
Tundra Technical Solutions (TUNDRA), a leading provider of professional IT services, is seeking a results-driven Digital Recruiter, internally known as Senior Technical Recruiter, to take charge of a key organizational function.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment plans, leveraging digital platforms to attract top talent, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This role requires a high level of expertise in sourcing, screening, and engaging with technical professionals, ensuring Tundra’s commitment to delivering exceptional IT services through a skilled workforce.
As part of Tundra’s dynamic team, the Digital Recruiter will play a critical role in fostering growth and innovation by identifying and onboarding the best talent in the industry.
Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Assessing client job requisitions to identify key qualifications, skills, and abilities needed for roles, and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates;
- Sourcing high-quality candidates across various industries by actively seeking talent through online platforms, networking events, and industry-specific channels;
- Acting as the main point of contact for candidates, aligning their goals, availability, and qualifications with client requirements to ensure a strong match;
- Building a professional network of IT and engineering talent and maintaining a candidate pool to meet client demands;
- Organizing and managing recruitment activities to proactively fill open roles, with the flexibility to adapt recruitment strategies as needed;
- Utilizing creative sourcing methods to attract candidates, including online searches and participation in networking events;
- Conducting interviews and negotiating competitive pay rates in line with market standards.
- Providing resume coaching and interview preparation guidance to candidates as part of the candidate support process;
- Supporting recruitment process improvement efforts by implementing best practices and enhancing efficiency in sourcing and selection;
- Collaborating effectively with the recruitment team to meet team goals and foster a healthy, competitive environment;
- Achieving internal performance targets to contribute to personal and team success, with the potential for advancement based on performance;
- Supporting the Manager, Operations, in managing the end-to-end requisition lifecycle, including intake, qualification, distribution to the delivery team, and submission review;
- Staying informed about industry trends and innovations in the contingent workforce, ensuring a strong understanding of current recruitment practices; and
- Representing the organization at trade shows and career fairs to engage potential candidates and promote the company’s recruitment brand.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT recruitment and talent management, with expertise in full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding;
- Proven track record in managing recruitment pipelines, tailoring sourcing strategies, and maintaining a high candidate-to-placement success rate;
- Completion of a College Diploma in Human Resources Management or relevant field;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, recruitment tools such as Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and traditional sourcing techniques;
- Experience working with cloud platforms and Google Drive for document and workflow management;
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a digital landscape, ensuring innovative solutions to recruitment challenges;
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new business processes and implement best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition;
- Skilled in developing and executing strategies for self-management, achieving monthly and quarterly performance goals while maintaining work-life balance;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring effective prioritization and timely delivery of recruitment tasks;
- Proven ability to problem solve and identify innovative solutions to unanticipated challenges.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills, enabling successful placements and client satisfaction;
- Exceptional communication skills, with expertise in leveraging digital and social channels to attract candidates and promote employer branding;
- In-depth knowledge of current business and market trends and advancements in recruitment technology;
- Extensive experience in client and candidate management, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring high client satisfaction;
- Skilled in training and mentoring recruitment teams, implementing industry best practices, and fostering team success;
- Results-driven professional with a history of exceeding recruitment and revenue targets, consistently ranking among top performers.
