Galaxy IDP Construction Ltd. located in Delta; BC is looking to hire Insulator for a full-time permanent position. The person should have basic communication skills and with 1- 2 years of experience in the same field.

The person must be able to perform following responsibilities as part of this job;

• Instruct apprentices
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
• Supervise other workers
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• We pay a competitive wage rate of $28.00/Hr and we offer 40 hr/week.
