Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Receptionist serves as the ambassador and first point of contact for all visitors to the Political Office. The Receptionist is responsible for providing basic reception duties that include greeting and assisting visitors, managing phone lines, receiving, and distributing all incoming/outgoing correspondence to the Political Office, and maintaining a schedule for the Political Office boardroom.

As a key position that provides administrative support to the Political Office the successful candidate must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and possess strong interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION:

  1. Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
  2. A Post-Secondary Diploma in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist or in a comparable administrative support role.
