Assembly of First Nations Hosts Virtual Forum with Mark Carney, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada
(April 23, 2025 – Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa) – The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) will host a series of virtual forums with federal party leaders ahead of the 45th General Election on April 28, 2025. These forums will provide First Nations Chiefs and leaders with an opportunity to share their priorities and pose questions directly to federal leaders.
The next session will feature Prime Minister Mark Carney, leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, on April 25. Separately, the AFN Quebec-Labrador is liaising directly with the Bloc Québécois.

Location: Virtual by Zoom
Registration: https://meetings.afn.ca.
Registration is free and open to First Nations Chiefs, Tribal Chiefs, Grand Chiefs, Councillors, and First Nations observers. Accredited media are invited to attend in an observational capacity. Media interviews with the National Chief are available upon request.
