Calgary preparing to host 2027 North American Indigenous games – 89.3 The Raven

The 2027 North American Indigenous Games will be hosted in Calgary, from July 25-31.

The games are held every four years to commemorate Indigenous heritage and athletic achievements.

Thousands of Indigenous youth from across Turtle Island, along with their families, coaches and friends will travel to Calgary, to unite for something bigger than sport — a celebration of the immense importance of Indigenous youth taking up space in sports that also shines light on the support rallied behind these young athletes.
