City of Thompson – Our First Live Concert Since 2020: The 2021 Indigenous Artists Summer Tour!
July 27, 2021
The City of Thompson and the Manitoba Arts Network are excited to present our FIRST LIVE CONCERT since 2020: the 2021 Indigenous Artists Summer Tour!
The northern stretch of the tour is stopping into Thompson on August 4 at 5:00pm in MacLean Park! Check out an Indigenous Music presentation at the beginning of the show, and then at 7:00pm, hear performances from Norway Rabliauskas, riel. (who grew up right here in Thompson), Martin Desjarlais, and Rhonda Head!
The concert is outdoors (weather permitting) and free to attend! Current event restrictions allow us to host up to 150 people in one place. However, we still ask that everyone be respectful to their fellow attendees: give each other plenty of space, and if there’s a lot of attendees, consider wearing a mask as well.
Life is returning to some semblance of normal, and we’re excited to see everyone’s faces!
